The accommodations were cozy and well-designed, providing a romantic atmosphere for our getaway. We especially enjoyed the private patio area, perfect for sipping cocktails and enjoying intimate conversations. the pool was a refreshing retreat from the warm weather. the location was ideal, situated away from the busyness of the tourist area but still within easy reach of nearby attractions and amenities.
One drawback was the distance from certain amenities, which made it a bit inconvenient for those without transportation. Walking to nearby establishments could be a challenge, especially at night.

We recently stayed at Casa Gio for a week and it was an amazing experience. Gio, the host, made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. He provided us with insider tips and recommendations that made our trip unforgettable. The room was spotlessly clean and the entire grounds, including the tranquil garden and pool area, were like a slice of heaven. Watching the sunset from our tree house and enjoying a cerveza at the bar were highlights of our stay. Gracias Gio, we can't wait to return!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing experience staying at Casa Gio Villa in Puerto Escondido. the price was unbeatable, especially compared to private rooms in hostels. the pool was clean and lovely, and we enjoyed relaxing in the shaded hammocks. the honesty bar was a great touch, offering cold beers for enjoyment. the location was ideal, just a short 15-minute walk to La Punta and other quieter areas of the beach. Gio and Nayeli, the hosts, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Gio took the time to advise us on things to do, places to eat, and even treated us like friends. Our room was spacious and equipped with a personal kitchen. it was a slice of heaven and we can't wait to return. Thank you for having us!

I had a fantastic time at Casa Gio in Puerto Escondido. I stayed for a week, and it was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Gio, the host, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He even organized a fun barbecue for all the guests! The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a lovely bathroom. The tropical garden surrounding the place was absolutely beautiful, and the handmade touches added so much charm. The location was great, just a short walk from the main beach in La Punta. I highly recommend Casa Gio for a unique and enjoyable stay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the phenomenal setup and great hosts at the hotel. The room was cozy but had everything we needed, from the good WiFi to the complete kitchen with a blender and coffee machine. We particularly enjoyed the workout facility, which was exceptional. the location was perfect for us, with easy access to all the local places we wanted to visit. We were able to explore the area easily by taking short walks or collectivos.
While we loved almost everything about our stay, the only downside was the lack of hot water. It would have been nice to have a warm shower after a long day of exploring.

I recently stayed at Casa Gio in Puerto Escondido for a relaxing week-long getaway. The place was amazing! It was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The kitchen had everything I could think of, and the tropical garden had a pool and a gym. Gio, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and always happy to help with anything. The location was great, close enough to La Punta and the beach to be in the center of everything in less than 10 minutes but still in a calm neighborhood. Plus, you can even rent scooters or bicycles from Gio if you prefer not to walk. Casa Gio felt like a little oasis in Puerto Escondido.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Casa Gio is a true gem created with the hands of a dedicated man who knows what is good hospitality. We spent a fantastic week at Gio’s and enjoyed the apartment and the patio, as well as the pool. Gio is a great person to talk to, he knows all about Puerto Escondido and gives you the best tips. He is super generous and modest, same as his family. Oh and we loved Darla, their rabbit. The location is outside the touristy buzz but still close to everything. The self-serving bar is great and at cheap prices. The beautiful garden and swimming pool is amazing for relaxing. Casa Gio welcomed me so friendly and attentive. The place felt like a home far away from home. A very safe place to arrive and settle in. The first room I got was super nice and cute. I also loved the location, a bit uphill away from the tourists, but definitely close enough to anything you need. The second room I had was sooo big and spacious and had the most amazing view ever. Sunset is amazing! A phenomenal setup with great hosts. I had no problem at all getting to all the local places I wanted to get to- just a short walk and/or collectivo. The room was cozy but complete- they thought of everything! WiFi was good, blender, coffee machine, complete kitchen. Fan was nice and it was cool and quiet at night. Workout facility is exceptional.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

They went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience.
Technically, the hotel was a little far from the beach. it was incredibly easy to reach the beach from the hotel, with affordable transportation options available.

Casa Gio was an incredible value for our money - the room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from La Punta but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Gio, the host, was friendly, helpful, and gave us our own space while still being available when we needed him.
More variety in breakfast choices would have been nice.

The hostel apartment was well-equipped with everything I needed, including a fully stocked kitchen. the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the main strip and close to the beach. the peaceful atmosphere made for a great night's sleep.
The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. there was no cleaning service provided, so guests were left to clean up after themselves.

We had such a memorable stay at Casa Gio! The host, Gio, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our visit. The beautiful garden and swimming pool provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation, and we made some amazing friends with fellow travelers. Despite a few small inconveniences like the distance from the beach and occasional noise from animals, the overall experience at Casa Gio Villa was unbeatable. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Puerto Escondido for an authentic and unforgettable Mexican getaway.
